who we are
We are Elizabeth (Eli) Jordan and Catherine Roberts, sisters who grew up in Greenville, SC. Even though our careers took different paths—one of us into the writing and creative realm, the other into mental health—we have always wanted to work together. Over the years, as we witnessed our own children and so many young adults go through the college admissions process—capable, motivated, but often overwhelmed—we found, in combining our skills, that we could offer another level of support. While we are not college counselors, our work is designed to compliment those services by focusing not only on “getting in,” but also preparing your child for what comes next.
ELI is an award-winning essayist with more than two decades of experience shaping stories on the page and in the world. She has an MFA from Sarah Lawrence College and has spent the last ten years in educational marketing at Christ Church Episcopal School in Greenville. She has coached students on undergraduate and graduate application essays, helping them identify and develop meaningful stories that reflect who they truly are. Learn more.
